Privacy
Chalkplay is used in classrooms, so we treat student data with extra care. We collect only what we need to run the games and show teachers their results.
What we collect
- Teachers: name, email, school (optional), and the activities you create.
- Students: the first name or nickname they type, and their answers. No email, password or profile.
- Everyone: basic technical data, like browser type, to keep the service working.
What we never do
- Show ads to students or build advertising profiles.
- Sell or rent personal data.
- Use student answers to train AI models.
Your choices
You can export or delete your activities and results at any time. Schools can set how long student results are kept and sign a data processing agreement.
Terms of use
Use Chalkplay to make and play learning activities. Be kind, respect copyright, and don't upload anything that isn't yours to share.
Your content
You own what you create. When you publish an activity to the community library, you let other teachers play, copy and adapt it, with credit to you.
Plans and payment
Paid plans renew only after a reminder email, can be cancelled at any time, and come with a 30-day refund window.
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your settings. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Right now, before accounts launch, your activities are kept in your browser's local storage on this device.
